If you attended a college in California, you are likely partial to your alma mater.
There are a handful of excellent universities scattered throughout the state, but one stands out above the rest. This school is revered for its spectacular reputation, employment outcomes, and numerous programs among other desirable qualities that make it a top educational institution to attend.
According to a list compiled by QS Top Universities, the best university in California is Stanford. The University of California, Berkeley (UCB) was named runner up!
"Among the top universities in California, Stanford University stands as the top-ranked institution. Stanford is placed fifth in the world while also being ranked third in the world for employer reputation and second for employment outcomes. Founded in 1885, the university emphasizes discovery, innovation, and societal impact, boasting a vast campus with renowned schools and a rich tradition of nurturing creativity and arts."

"The rankings are compiled by our data analysts in partnership with tens of thousands of higher education institutions.
