Jewelry Store in West Covina Mall Hit by Smash-And-Grab Robbers

WEST COVINA (CNS) - Three men wearing masks and hoodies and armed with hammers broke glass cases at a jewelry store in West Covina tonight and made off with an unspecified amount of jewelry, according to multiple reports.

The robbery took place around 7:30 p.m. at Kevin Jewelers in the Plaza West Covina Mall at 112 Plaza Drive, police told KTLA5 and ABC7. No injuries were reported. Similar smash-and-grab robberies have plagued jewelry stores across Los Angeles County in recent months.
