Pusha T is a dad!
On Monday (June 15), the 43-year-old rapper announced on Instagram that his wife, Virginia Williams, gave birth to their first child, a baby boy, on June 11. "NIGEL BRIXX THORNTON 🚀 JUNE 11 2020," Pusha captioned a series of close-up photos of his son.
Virginia also shared the news on her Instagram, posting a NASA-inspired graphic announcing Nigel's birth — he was born weighing 7 lbs., 7 oz. and measuring 21 inches long — and two photos of her husband holding Nigel. "MY GUYS! 🙋🏾♀️," she captioned the Instagram series.
The new mom additionally shared a solo photo of her baby boy, which she captioned with a Mark Twain quote: "'The two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you find out why' 🥰🙏🏾😭🥺❤️ • • NIGEL BRIXX THORNTON | Jun 11th 2020."
As fans know, Pusha and Virginia announced they were expecting their first child back in December.
"Finally landed my dream job ❤️...World, make way for BABY THORNTON!" Virginia captioned a cartoon graphic, designed by artist Sam Clayman, that showed the couple sitting in a sleigh, surrounded by gifts, their dogs, a Christmas tree, and holiday decorations. "Arriving Gemini season 2020!! WE ARE OVER THE MOON!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙏🏾🙌🏾🥰♊️."
The post also included a photo of the baby's sonogram, which the then-mommy-to-be, captioned, "Swipe to see my baby waving at me."
The couple's pregnancy announcement came more than a year after the longtime lovebirds tied the knot in a private ceremony in Virginia Beach in July 2018.
