Representative Adam Schiff, Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, who has been targeted by Trump (calling him "Pencil Neck" and "Shifty Adam Schiff") for his continued claims of Russian collusion with Trump's 2016 presidential campaign came on The Stephanie Miller Show to discuss Mueller's Russia counterintelligence investigation, AG Barr's summary letter, next steps and protecting democracy. He says the precedent being set now is contrary to what was established post-Watergate.
"(13:10) But we're now in a place where a president under investigation can fire the FBI director who's conducting it, in the hopes of making it go away, he can fire his attorney general for not protecting him better, he can hire a new attorney general who has already demonstrated a clear bias against the investigation, and that new attorney general doesn't have to commit to following the advice of ethics lawyers and can run interference for that president."
