Democratic Party Chairman Tom Perez announced Wednesday that Fox News will not be hosting a democratic primary debate leading up to the 2020 presidential election because "we cannot rely on Fox to host a fair and neutral debate.".
"Just to be clear, Fox News will not serve as a media partner for the 2020 Democratic primary debates."
A recent New Yorker article laid out the "partnership" between the network and the Trump administration.
Trump's reaction was typical; he tweeted out a threat.
"I'm taking my ball and I'm going home."
Conditions for Fox News to host a debate:
- Chris Wallace, and ONLY Chris Wallace, moderates
- Sean Hannity is the water boy; he has to dress like Adam Sandler's character in The Water Boy and bring candidates high quality H20
- Fox runs live fact checker on all Fox owned channels
- Fox donates all profits to sustainable energy research
