Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has told his colleagues in the Senate that Trump has agreed to sign the bipartisan border deal, preventing another partial government shutdown, but will also issue an emergency declaration at the same time.
The deal only provides $1.375 billion for border security including 55 miles of border barrier (fencing), not a concrete wall, which well below the $5.7 billion he has demanded, and not a concrete wall. So, Trump will declare the "border crisis" a national emergency and start the process to reallocate funds that are currently designated for natural disaster relief.
