Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was asked while walking down hallways with an excessive amount of unused furniture by a cameraman with almost perfect backwards walking skills what she would think about a President of the United States smoking marijuana.
"I don't care."
It's all about how she said it.
At the end, about Trump's comments on her Green New Deal, she says that "he's scared."
She also touched on how those in government need to make up for the damage done to those most adversely affected by the "war on drugs," something she focused her five minutes on during Wednesday's Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Financial Institutions Hearing about the "Challenges and Solutions: Access to Banking Services for Cannabis-Related Businesses."
Here's AOC's five on it.
If you have the time you should watch the entire hearing (below), or at least from AOC on, which is what I did; very interesting exchanges and gives a good sense of the how the future of the cannabis industry is being shaped.
