Comey slams Trump and Republicans

Former FBI Director James Comey testified in front of the GOP-led-but-soon-to-be-Democratic-led-so-watch-your-asses-GOP-and-Trump-and-Trump-friends-and-family House Judiciary and Oversight AND Government Reform committees to answer questions about Hillary Clinton's email server and the Steele dossier, again. And as much of a waste of time that Comey thinks it is, at least it gives him the opportunity to tell the country what he really thinks of Trump and Republicans.

"Republicans used to understand that the actions of a president matter, the words of a president matter, the rule of law matters and the truth matters. Where are those Republicans today? At some point someone has to stand up and in the face of fear of Fox News, fear of their base, fear of mean tweets, stand up for the values of this country and not slink away into retirement."

Here's the tweet from Trump calling his former lawyer Michael Cohen a "rat."

It's been pointed out that in the mob world a "rat" is someone who tells authorities factual information of criminal activity, so as despicable as it is for a president to say, it's actually accurate.
